Welcome
The CCHS Library Mission Statement
The mission of Calvary Chapel Schools Library is to support the school curriculum, being a source of information and learning while upholding Christ and affirming our Biblical beliefs. As part of that mission, the library will provide access to current and appropriate information sources, while striving to ensure that all students, teachers, and staff are effective users of ideas and information, and develop a life-long love of reading and learning.
Welcome to the CCHS Library Resources
The CCHS library continues to improve its services to our school community with updates to our Library Computer Lab. We are able to accommodate class visits for online research and related assignments with our twenty-nine internet computers. Through our automated library software, our students and staff can locate information and resources quickly and easily from our three “ALEX" Look-Up Computers or from our campus wide internet.
The CCHS Library currently contains approximately 14,000 items for student, teacher, and faculty use. These items include books, magazines, DVDs, videos, CDs, audio books, maps, and many teacher resources.
Individual students are able to use the library computers before school, during break, at lunch, and after school to complete school related assignments using Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, and Excel. They can also use the internet for research for school related assignments. See “Computers” under Library Services for computer usage and guidelines.
